Below some information should help you choose the right type of Ottoman Bed for you:

Ottoman Bed Frame - the cheapest ottoman type, this consists of a headboard, footboard, sideboards and the ottoman lift mechanism. This type requires assembly and does not have a solid base inside of the frame. Your items will rest on the floor inside of the ottoman bed frame. There are no sections inside of the frame, there may be support bars. 

Ottoman Divan - the most expensive type of ottoman, this has a solid wooden base inside of the bed, so your items are not on the floor inside of the ottoman bed. Partial assembly required for attaching the already assembled bases together and attaching any headboard/footboard. Sizes from 4FT or larger will come with the base in two halves.
